Here is an insight into some of the events in April and May.
13th April
The Annual residence Potjiekos Competition is taking place at the L'Huguenot Venue & Vinoteque on Val de Vie Estate.
15th April
Professor Thulisile "Thuli" Madonsela is the Law Trust Chair in Social Justice and Law Professor at Stellenbosch University, where she conducts and coordinates social justice research and teaches constitutional and administrative law.
22nd April
The polo field of Val de Vie Estate, enfolded by three awe-inspiring mountain ranges, will act as the natural open-air amphitheater for the first-ever concert of the Italian maestro in the Western Cape. Set against a symphony of sunset colours, attendees of the exclusive event can expect a unique experience in one of the most beautiful settings in Africa.
Big Concerts has announced today that Carlo Bernini, Maria Aleida, Beverley Knight, and Anastasiya Petryshak will be joining Andrea Bocelli for his South African tour.

Run the Pearl presented by Bergstreme Developments
10 km, 5 km and 2.5 km along the paths of the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course
This beautiful running event takes place on the paths of the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. Prizes for the top runners, lucky draws, waterpoints, live entertainment and food trucks available.
Discovery Vitality members will earn up to 100 fitness points for completing the 2.5km, 300 fitness points for completing the 5km event and 600 fitness points for completing the 10km event.
DISTANCE OPTIONS
2.5km - R50.00 pre entries. / R70 for late entries.
5km - R100.00 for pre entries. / R120 for late entries
10km - R150.00 for pre entries. / R170 for late entries

This year, WH is launching Chase The Sun, an early morning weekend workout dedicated to mindfulness, stretching, toning and letting go in the outdoors. The programme will start just before sunrise with an empowering, body positive stretching and relaxation exercise, followed by a sunrise Pilates and body conditioning movement session, wrapped up with an energizing dance workout, all set against the majestic backdrop of Val de Vie Estate.

The prestigious BCX SuperSport Shootout is now firmly entrenched as the premier celebrity golf and lifestyle event in South Africa, taking place on the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course from 17-19 May 2019.
Pearl Valley Members get to experience a "taste of the Shootout" with a Pearl Valley Golf Club members' golf day on Tuesday, 14 May 2019. This is a great opportunity to play the course as it will be set up for the main event.
